    Color: Asked for seaside, got salsa (Which I think I like better.)

    Tomorrow at 10:00 a.m. I pick up the car for which I have waited so patiently. I left my '87 Tercel (Which I bought new) at a salvage yard today and took the bus home. One more bus ride to the dealer tomorrow.

    I put 199,000 miles on the Tercel in nearly 17 years. I hope the Prius serves me as well. I'm going to miss that old car. I did a lot of work on that car and now they are going to smash it. I guess my days of repairing my own car are over.
