I have a Prius 2nd gen 2008 T3 model, 200k+ miles. It was running great until I received a P0705 error, I took this to a technician and replaced the gear selector, and it was running fine. Still, recently I felt a rough engine while running at a slow speed, especially when slowing down and I got the same P0705 error code again, For some reason I feel like this is caused by something else that affects the gear selector(Below image).

    Error codes are attached.

I appreciate any help or thoughts you have,

That first picture shows the parking pawl actuator - the motor on the transmission that actually engages "park". The TCM is complaining about something with the transmission range sensor (circuit).

That sensor (on a Gen2 Prius) is part of the shifter assembly on the dashboard. Your problem could be the sensor, or shifter, or wiring fault. If you had a more capable scantool, you could get an INF subcode that has more details.

P3102 is set in the hybrid control module when the TCM reports a shifter problem.

If you can speak Russian or Polish there is a YouTube video of some Russian or some Polish guys fixing this code and what they found was something a wiring harness that goes under or around part of the crankshaft pulley was pretty chewed up they show them soldering the wires fixing the connection and clearing the code they're speaking and talking in Russian or Polish but they're reading Toyota tech software in English You can see it in the video but I guess they can't speak English I guess some one of them can read it I don't know but it's pretty cool they jack up the car they pull the wiring harness down under the crank pulley undo the wrap or the shrink tubing or whatever it is it's around the wiring and show you the burnt wiring and then they take a soldering iron and they fix it rewrap it hang it back up under the crankshaft pulley show you that the code is cleared and the car parks and unparks with the button or by turning on and then with the button to park it and all of it's work what caused it to burn or mess up I have no idea but it seems like it was a big hullabaloo for them to get past this like it took a few days and looking at a lot of English tech videos and whatnot they kind of show the whole process seems like it was quite a thing so something to think about for sure because I wouldn't think all of these parking issues could all be really different usually things happen on similar model cars very similar or the exact same It's rare for a problem to be completely different than everybody else's just the nature of the beast

Update: And now I see that Error is not always there, It comes and goes from time to time when I start each time.
