Hi , I need a shortest route from reverse light to behind my head unit to connect to the red wire of my camera . Is there any ?
I'm guessing this camera is in the back of the car? If so, wouldn't the wires in the hatch to one of the backup lights be closest?
The camera in installed already and the wiring is behind the dashboard . the problem is I bought a new head unit which the harness connector is totally different with the genuine camera harness . so for connecting I need a wire from the reverse light to the head unit and I dont want to disassemble all the boot covering and etc .
I would think that the wire to the brake lights would come out of an ecu, but I've never looked into that. Might be best to rent the shop manual from Toyota. I think it's about $15 for two days.
