Anyone tried retrofitting Intelligent Park Assist on the Gen 4?

Is the ECU available available to buy and if so what does it cost? What is required to install one and get the car to recognise it and get it working?

toyota doesn't want you doing this. so, while i can't say definitely, i'm guessing no.

I suppose they have to sell it as a spare part though in case one fails in a vehicle that was factory fitted with it.

agree. it's the making it work part that might prove difficult. someone added 3 door sks to their 1 door. it took 3 months, thousands of dollars and 15 pages of write up and pics here. anything can be done, i guess.

Ok. Interesting, although a different scenario in which car was modified to do something it wasn't designed t o do. In t his case its just up-speccing to a higher standard build. But I accept there maybe issues. Does Park Assist have a physical button or is the control on the touch screen?

Sonar is controlled through the dash screen. The intuitive park assist is a button near the auto high beams and instructions are on the dash display as well.
