So, after a long talk with Evan, and some internal discussion amongst the moderators, we have reached a resolution. My opinion of the moderators has shifted from distrust to utmost respect. In fact, I have so much new found respect for all involved that words cannot express it. The moderators on this forum are people of utmost integrity and have proven that in resolving this issue. I doubt the fine line between censorship and moderating will ever be crossed again and anything resembling a gray area will be open for discussion between the poster and the mods (not that it was ever really closed). Hats off to the people who run PriusChat, all of them, they are hard working and noble people of substance and depth. Throughout my protest I tried to remain on issue, and in the end I think that is what got the issue addressed. I apologize for any undue pain that I have caused. I'm going to take a break from PriusChat; I'll likely see you guys again some time next year. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Kwanzaa, Festivus, Atheism Day, and a Happy New Year. Nate
Well done Nate! That was a retraction worthy of an aspiring politician! All kidding aside, I'm glad to see that this could be resolved. I hope it says a little something about this group as a community, that mods and members can work things out on a personal level, not just "turn it off" and walk away.
I'm glad it was worked out to everyone's satisfaction. Have a restful break, and don't stay away too long, Nate!
Evan, will you let me know when you're done using Nate's account so that I can change it back in case he comes back?
Damn, that was supposed to be a mods-only post... Glad to hear that your discussion with Evan helped to right the ship a little. We look forward to having your back in 2008. Now if we could get DocVijay in here...
What? The red dot moving across Nate's forehead during his "confession". Seriously though, glad it's been sorted and that everyone seems pleased with the outcome. See you in the year eight, nate. You gotta tell me how the RAV's doing in the cooler weather.
