Has anyone requested the installation of a charger at your workplace? If so, please describe your experience, any statistics, tips, or bullet points that you used. Were you successful or not? What factors affected the decision for management?

I’m in western Pennsylvania and hope to approach my workplace about installing a level 2 charging station.

Also in West PA. I've made lots of points and even got offered a donation of a charge station for my workplace and they still rejected it just because they didn't want to deal with the logistics of installation, location, determining the cost to use, etc. Plug-in cars are not valued here yet unfortunely.
Do they allow you to charge from wall outlets?

Step 1 find out the price per kwhr your workplace pays, mine is less than half what I pay
    2. Use your car as an example of how much juice thus cost per week it will be for them.
    3. Determine if your company has an “environmental” office or dept
    4. Find an existing 110 vac outlet in the parking lot
    5. Determine cost to install 110vac
    6. Go to stake holders with data.

What you will find is most companies will offer 110vac outlets, especially if the cost to them is near zero.

Most companies WILL NOT install charging stations period, but most will provide 110vac access especially if they already have infrastructure around the lot that supports it

    Good Luck
