Conservatives too busy for hearing on Iraq war’s cost.

House staffers aren’t the only ones “not worried†about the ultimate cost of the Iraq war. The Republicans in Congress seem equally apathetic. The House Budget Committee held a hearing today to receive testimony regarding the CBO’s estimate that the Iraq and Afghanistan wars may total $2.4 trillion. Only one Republican member of the committee attended. Rep. Lloyd Doggett (D-TX) noted their absence:

MJ: What, ME WORRY? We're the charge and spend party and we don't care that we just cost every US family $32,000. Obviously Junior's apathy of his country and countrymen is contagious to all republican representatives. 'Why care? We've f**ked the country so badly anyway how could it get any worse no matter what we do/don't do?' Or perhaps they were all in another committee busily redacting 10 of 14 pages of testimony on the health effects of Global Warming.

The President vetoes legislation that would provide healthcare to AMERICA'S children saying it's too expensive.

Then he presents a war budget for 3 TRILLION dollars?

    How can anyone vote Republican?

How can anyone be proud they put this clown in office?

How can anyone still support this moron?

Excellent questions. I've never seen an answer to any of them.

Par for the course. Sort of like being too busy to serve in Vietnam.

But if you've got a gay lynching or a resusitation of a brain dead person party, then they've got all the time in the world.

the state department just testified that they could not
account for 1.2 billion dollars they were given to train
    the Iraqi police...

just can't seem to account for it....
    but as previously mentioned:
    no health insurance for children
they lose 1.2 billion and no one holds them to task
