Replacing Roof Molding and Clips

    97DC3637-EA0A-4A64-9D28-28C66345BE1A.jpeg 4D6C189A-8A74-4B0F-B8C3-36D669109EA3.jpeg Hey all, my driver side roof molding came loose last week and discovered the front of the molding was superglued (maybe the clip is underneath the superglue?).

    I plan to remove the glue, clips, and replace the molding and clips this weekend. Has anyone seen this before?

    Also, I bought some Goo-Gone since I read it is safe on paint. Maybe soak the glue in goo gone for awhile and nudge at it with a butter knife from below. I heard about some using acetone, but that will eat away the clear coat.
