Replace stock AMP/Speakers

    I want to install new speakers and AMP but use the stock receiver.
    Has this been done and if so I have some questions.

    - Where is the stock APM located?
    - Can I replace the stock AMP with an aftermarket AMP and be able to use the stock wires?
    - Will the receiver and steering wheel controls still work?

    - any install pictures for this?

    On the top right of this page is a box called Google - try Googliing speakers replace... Also it helps to list what you have currently. If you have JBL, there's a thread on that (it's hard), if you're stock, there's a separate thread.

    You may just want to start with speakers, and then asses if you need an amp, or new HU...
