Last week I took my Prius V in to the dealer for oil change, air filters, and tire rotation.

The service manager hit another customer's car with my v, at low speed. Today I dropped off my beloved Prius to get it repainted. I have a Camry for a week.

You can hear the starter motor! I am reminded of Scotty having to use a mouse, "How quaint."

    It shifts, a lot.

It does not shift to P when you power it off.

I feel like I have traveled 20 year back in time.

It can be weird getting a hire car.

I hired an E-class in April, and its voice recognition was all over the place. It definitely felt old-fashioned. Mind you, it was a 2016 one.

But I hired an ID.3 last week in Britain, and that would have been really quite futuristic if only VW had remembered to screw it together properly and install decent software.
