removing 6 cd changer in '01 prius

So my 6 cd changer ate up all my cds and everytime I hit the eject button, the disc indicator from 1-6 all alternate in orange and green lights. Kinda like x-mas, except it isn't. I was wondering how I can get the player out so I can get to the root of the problem. I haven't tried blowing in compressed air yet but figured that perhaps the lens is smudged or something. Thanks. I'd appreciate any info on this guys. A shot of canned air in the slit didn't do a thing either.
