Refurb HV batt crapping out after 6 months - P0A80

Have you cleaned up the HV battery fan lately?
Do you park it in the shade, with the windows cracked?
Do you run the AC to keep you and the HV battery cooler?

Many will suggest buying a new OEM battery from the dealer for around 2k and a DIY install, or the 1600 *new* aftermarket version.

Are the "used' batteries that you keep replacing under warranty, or are you paying each time they fail?

Your other three codes relate to the coolant control valve. It is probably stuck and needs replacing.

 

Refurbished or rebuilt batteries just mean one or two of the worst modules are replaced with better used modules. Battery reconditioning is extremely short term as well. If you want more than six to eighteen months of trouble free hv battery performance, buy new cells or a new Toyota battery. Many get new for $1,600- $2,250 installed. Toyota's wholesale price is much lower these days so shop around. Even third party installers are using new Toyota batteries.

Hot ambient temperatures down south are bad for the hv battery in general. Does not matter too much about shade when the temp is 95F. There is no fan or active cooling in the cabin when shutdown. Even garage parked does not help.

Techstream and some bluetooth apps can run the battery fan. The apps only run the fan while they are online with the car. I would clean the corrosion off those pins. Toyota has instructions on how to remove connector pins in their introduction to wiring. Generally it requires a thin pick to release a catch.

 

That corrosion is from water ingress from a water leak. If you don't want to go to the trouble of fixing the water leak, you should at least make that connection point waterproof.
