    Hello all,
Suddenly red triangle pop up out of nowhere.
Immediately I thought it’s HV battery.
    I haven’t checked code.
But I pulled HV battery and did bench test under load.
Everything was fine ( Range :7.5-7.61V each cell).
    I checked 12V battery - 12.74V without turning over.
    Checked ground&fuse&oil level.
Is there anything that I need to check?
When I disconnect negative and start the car.
It charges fine get good MPG.
    But Triangle pops up.
    Please help me.

I don't know man You're supposed to read the codes before you pull the battery and start doing all the funny business I'm going to guess battery HV isolation fault or possibly an inverter pump is the little car that's usually green on the multifunction display red and says problem? Always try to read your codes before you start disconnecting things now you've taken everything away and you've got to get it running again to get the codes to pop back up It's not advisable generally to just whip your HV battery out because you got a red triangle or what have you that that's just an indication that something is amiss not necessarily in the hybrid battery.

The first thing to do is read the trouble codes and then go from there. Why go to all the work of pulling the hybrid battery before knowing what the problem was?

If you do not have a scan tool and are interested in buying one, read this thread: https://priuschat.com/index.php?posts/3290690

Same thing happened to me-I got the 'RED TRIANGLE'

    Problem solved

And that will work every time it happens to be, of the couple hundred reasons the triangle can come on, the inverter pump is the reason for you.

Reading the trouble codes will tell you what the reason is.

I knew I could get answers better here.
I couldn’t see anything about inverter pump.
I used to have code scanner.
I couldn’t find one. I need to get one for sure
