red triangle, TPMS, VCC and check engine lights

    I was driving today when suddenly the car slowed and the red triangle, TPMS. VCC and check engine lights came on. I was able to get home but had trouble going up hills. The engine starts right up but now the hybrid cooling fan is on high. Any ideas what the issue could be?

    Your issue is 99% related to a failed hybrid battery

    Could the 12v battery be causing these issues? When it happened the hybrid battery charge went to full green on the screen.

    Very doubtful. When the car is running (in ready), the 12v system in the car is powered by the DC/DC converter, which is located inside the inverter assembly. The 12 v battery is also being charged. So the car is not drawing power front the 12v battery.

    You need to get the trouble codes by using a scan tool and then post them for additional help.

    One of the common symptoms of a failing hybrid battery is that the gauge on the MFD quickly goes between very high (6-8 bars) and very low (1-2 bars).

    Most of that symptom list could have been a failed inverter pump, but the HV fan on max suggests instead that the HV battery overheated, which won't happen if that pump goes. That HV battery is probably going, but perhaps check the cooling fan and make sure it isn't packed up (with dust and/or human/pet hair), which could also cause it to overheat. And like the others said, pull the codes.
