Red triangle cleaned out ton of hair still red triangle

    So I posted on here how I started out with the red triangle and long story clean the fan which had so much dog hair in it it was unbelievable then I lost my key fob so update ended up spending almost $400 had to call a locksmith they programmed my fobfinally got my car to start after cleaning out the hair because the red triangle came on me now it finally startedWhen it started in the front under the hood like in the motor sounded like it was just all kinds of crap banging around in there and then it finally kind of cleared out but the red triangle is still on in there that emblem of a car on the on screen in red with that exclamation in the middle of it I think that’s what it is anyway I don’t know if I should drive it or what to do from this point can someone please help me figure this out Please

    That red triangle has an error code that points to the problem... You can get the code read, but not cleared at an auto parts store. Or you can use an OBD2 reader like this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/265484403768 and then use a phone app to do that. It's an essential tool to keep in your glove box so you don't get stuck on the side of the road with a red triangle. In the meantime, you can clear the red triangle by disconnecting the 12v battery for a few minutes to see how long it takes for it to come back.

    Sorry it took me so long to respond .. thank you so much for taking time to respond bc I honestly have no idea what to do or expect !! So update I started the car so I could check it out again & the lights were all off .. no red triangle no vsc or whatever that is … I mean it looked as if it did before all of this mess … then this morning when I started it the red triangle and all those other lights were all back on … I still haven’t disconnected the 12 volt battery yet but I’m fixing to go do that right now ..

    I also ordered the tool you suggested .. Ty very much
