My car showed the red car in the middle of the battery screen.

    The mechanics response was:
“Technician Notes: confirmed client concern checked for faults p0a93 inverter cooling system performance inspected inverter coolant pump- ok bleed inverter cooling system - ok confirmed radiator cooling fan function- ok allow vehicle to run in service bay and observed data - ok clear all faults and test drive vehicle faults did not return and all ok at this time unable to confirm failure in inverter cooling system if fault return further diagnostics required

Labor: CHECK ENGINE LIGHT (CEL) / SERVICE ENGINE SOON LIGHT (SES) DIAGNOSTIC INSPECTIONS, LEVEL 1 TESTING: ROAD TEST VEHICLE AND VERIFY CUSTOMER COMPLAINT. PERFORM BASIC VISUAL INSPECTION FOR ANY OBVIOUS CONCERNS, CHECK CHARGING SYSTEM, AND SCAN CODES, ANALYZE FREEZE FRAME AND CHECK LIVE DATA. RESEARCH FOR ANY APPLICABLE TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETINS. PERFORM BASIC SYSTEM OR COMPONEMT TESTS AS NEEDED. DOCUMENT ALL CODES AND FINDINGS ON RO. ADVISE OF ANY NEEDED OR RECOMMENDED REPAIRS OR ADDITIONAL TESTS NEEDED.”

Is it safe or does someone know of something else to check on the car?

There's a bunch of things to check on the car I don't see a print out of your code reads that red car in the MFD with the exclamation point through it there's a lot of reasons that can be on battery isolation fault inverter coolant pump one of the more popular ones on and on and on If you could get a copy of the factory manual or the section from the factory manual that talks about lights and warning lights I think it would give you a lot of too much information maybe Is it not possible for you or someone you know to scan the car with its capable scanner and pull the real codes?

If the mechanic mentioned P0A93, the car's power electronics got too hot at one time.

Sometimes, that's because of the little pump that circulates the inverter coolant. You'll often hear of people turning the car ON (two power button pushes, foot off brake) and then taking the cap off the inverter coolant bottle (the pink coolant bottle that's nearer the silvery "hybrid synergy drive" box under the hood) and looking for ripples/turbulence to confirm that the pump is making that coolant circulate. There should be a little humming sound from that pump too. The pump is behind the left headlight.

If the pump is ok, P0A93 could also indicate a problem with the cooling fans. More rarely, something has been found plugging up the inverter coolant plumbing.
