Rear-view mirror lower on my replacement windshield?

    Just got my cracked windshield replaced with a Pilkington something-or-other, DOT 177. It may be my imagination but I immediately noticed that the rear-view mirror is mounted quite a bit lower than what it had. Has this occurred to anyone else or was this just my imagination? Driving in the city is a slight pain now because the rear view mirror blocks so much of my view.

    don't they just glue it on after replacing the glass?

    The arm from the mirror to window may have been mounted backwards. My 2010 hatchback needed the arm twisted around when new.

    They do but sometimes the black square where you're supposed to glue the mirror is different depending on the windshield glass. Apparently there was an issue here:

    But that was for the regular Prius so I wanted to see if anyone with a C had a similar experience.
