    Hi everybody!
I am looking for a rear bumper for my Prius V (2012 ZVW40).
    Reference on toyota is: 52159-47909
In my area, there are many shops offering the 52159-47905 which officially is for Prius 2009+ (ZVW30).
I found out on a website that give both references for the same rear bumper: 52159-47905 & 52159-47909 (source: klokkerholm website)
Can someone confirm me wether the reference 52159-47905 can fit my Prius V? are there any really differences between the two models? (47905 & 47909)
    Thanks.

The ZVW30 is the hatchback Prius. You want one for the ZVW40 Prius v wagon.

OK I have been searching and definitely these are not the same. Those from Prius V have additional two side lights compare to other models.

I can't. However, if you got hit in the rear, be looking at what is under the cosmetic cover "bumper" as that is what provides the protection. Those cosmetic "bumpers" can often be repaired by a good body shop. But the real bumpers and crushable structure you want new.

My rear bumper somehow cracked the plastic around the visible right screw when you open the trunk.
I'll try to send a pic as soon as it possible.

Today's bumpers are "glass jaw" jokes. A little bit of cosmetic damage is the invariably outcome of any amount of contact, and repair is preferable whenever possible, and it keeps a perfectly serviceable "bumper" out of the landfill. If you can swing it with your insurance, body shops can do a completely seamless repair.

When we took my wife's 2012 Prius v to the Toyota/Lexus dealer's body shop a few months ago to have its front bumper cover repaired/repainted due to curb scrapes and a little crack near a fog light it turned out that buying a new bumper cover cost the same as having the original bumper cover repaired.
