Rear armrest / cupholders

    Does the 5th gen Prius really doesn't have a rear armrest? I find it hard to belive; even my base Corolla Hybrid has a flip down armrest with cupholders. This also means there are no real cupholders for rear passengers either!

    Yes LE 2WD. I did some research and looks like the AWD LE has them. Really cheapnof Toyota to not have base trim have them. It has all advanced safety features but not something as basic as an armrest/cupholder ‍♂️

    It is. Sometimes I feel the Corolla gets better treatment than the Prius.

    I can confirm that in fact the LE AWD suffers the same affliction.

    The Corolla is a global model and the Prius is Japan centric. Corolla likely design got more input from the other Toyota branches. At this point, the Prius is sold outside Japan to mostly support home sales.
