Would you say that the Prius rattles more or less than other similar sedans? My car has 3,800 miles on the odometer and over less than smooth roads it rattles considerably; definitely more so than my previous car (VW Golf) after 23,000 miles.

I don't notice any rattles; but I do have an annoying vibration in the area of the MFD when the engine is under very slight load, at about 50 - 52 MPH. At higher or lower speeds it disappears. The noise sounds like static from a speaker.

The only rattle in mine is the Center Speaker. Since it's right over the MFD it sounds like it's coming from there.

As Don said, it only buzzes when you hit the right harmonic.

One day soon I'm going to fix it, shouldn't be hard, but it's not so annoying that I feel compelled to do it immediately.

Oh, I did have a rattle a couple of weeks ago. Couldn't figure it out. When I would go around corners I would hear a 'clack-clack-clack' from over on the passenger side of the car.

Turns out my wife had seen a pretty marble on the ground, and put it in the glove box for safe keeping.

She tends to do things like that :)

I've got a couple of rattles on rough roads. One is right next to the hand grip above my left ear, the other sounds like it's behind or under the right rear seat.
