Just the other day I got the red triangle of death and a check engine light. The car felt like it would barely move, but luckily I was close to home so I coasted it. Pulled the codes and they are coming as p0a4c and p0a4d. Looking around, someone else had a similar problem and it turns out some rodent ate away the harness. However, I checked under the hood and couldn't see any of the harnesses eaten up. The next day, I started the car and the triangle of death went away. I cleared the codes and now it runs fine. Super random. Has anyone else ever run into this issue? I tried to look around to see if maybe it's a bad sensor issue. Also, I replaced the electric motor a couple months ago and added over 15k miles since then, so I don't think it is related to the motor. I would like to get it resolved so I don't end up stranded one day on the side of the road on a long distance drive. Thanks!

Yep, I recently pulled the transaxle and swapped in another one with lower miles and filled up the transmission oil with 4 qts / flows out of the top hole. It's been running fine for 15K miles. My friend who works as a mechanic at Toyota told me to clean the plugs and change out the fluid again. So I cleaned out the plugs for both resolvers and changed the transaxle fluid and the light no longer pops up.
