Toyota Care finally ran out, so did my first DIY oil and filter change last night, which brings up a couple questions. Plastic maintenance panel is a PITA, I'm thinking of just cutting it off, what are other DIY'ers doing? How do you get the filter cap off, is there a special tool? Small filter wrench works, but not well due to the small "maintenance" hole.
