    Hello all, first time here so be gentle :)

    I was in a wreck recently, after which the audio stopped working, which I believe to be the result of water damage, as I had an open qt cup with water and it spilled everywhere around/inside the console because my clock is out (friend drunkenly punched it out). I took it into the dealership who claims that the amp is damaged in some way (not exactly sure how, they told me they saw water spots but now they as well as the insurance company are saying there aren't water spots). My insurance company won't cover the amp because they believe I am lying about the audio working prior to the accident, but they did fix the body damage so I guess that's okay...(not really). I, not being a car savvy person, was wondering where I could find the amp in my car so I could look at it myself? Also, I was wanting to know, by anyone who knows, how difficult and expensive it would be to replace the amp myself. The dealership is quoting me 1400 + tax to replace it or 645 + tax to repair it (???).
    :confused::confused::confused:
    Thanks for any and all help in advance!!

    The amp is located under the passenger seat.

    If the clock in the center console is out, the amp woudn't affect it - it's separate from the JBL amp.
