I'd like to know if anyone has successfully installed the Reverse Tilt / Auto Tilt Module Kit (08641-47010) on a US model Prius. It's available from Sigma Automotive and probably other vendors as well. With a large Prius audience perhaps someone has been down this road before.

I'm looking to confirm the pinouts of the accessory wiring harness connector for the kit before beginning the physical installation. I already read through the US model wiring diagrams, translated the kit instructions, and did a prelim inspection of the connectors behind the LH and RH cowls. There are definitely differences and it looks like you just cannot plug and play reverse RH & LH connector locations. (Please correct me if I'm wrong.)

To account for US model differences, it appears the kit wiring harness needs to be modified (moving some pins around) and the wire tap points are also different.

Any info anyone might have would sure help! As with the other kits that I've done, I do plan on sharing my infomation and instructions on this installation when successful via the Knowledge Base Forum.

    Thanks in advance.
    Chuck

    -----------

What I've got so far (Looks good on paper...):

    1) P10-1, P10-3, and P9 are the JP connector references of the kit.
IM2, IF1, and IL1 are the US model Wiring Diagram connector references.

    2) The last page of the kit install instructions shows the wiring schematic.

    3) Modify kit install reference of tap to P10-1 Pin 14 (IG) for switched 12V to IM2 Pin 6 (IG).

    4) Modify kit install reference of tap to P10-3 Pin 3 (REV) for reverse power to IF1 Pin 6 (REV).

    5) The kit wiring harness leads pertaining to P9 need to be rewired from the P9 configuration to the IL1 configuration per the US model Wiring Diagrams:
    - P9 Pin 13 (12V Unswitched) is IL1 Pin 12 and allow IL1 Pin 13 to "pass through". Swap leads on pins 12 and 13.
    - P9 Pin 4 (M+ LH) relocates to IL1 Pin 2 (M+ RH) and allow IL1 Pin 4 to "pass through". Swap leads on pins 4 and 2.
    - P9 Pin 6 (MLH) relocates to IL1 Pin 11 (MRH) and allow IL1 Pin 6 to "pass through". Swap leads on pins 6 and 11.
    - P9 Pin 5 (MLV) relocates to IL1 Pin 3 (MRV) and allow IL1 Pin 5 to "pass through". Swap leads on pins 5 and 3.
    - all other wires not mentioned above are left as originally wired as they already just "pass through" for the IL1 configuration.

Thanks, searching old posts, I saw that he did but last posts were that he "fried" the module. I also have left him a PM for the pinouts that he used.
