I will soon replace the stock wheels and tires for others, but whats going to happen with the tire pressure sensor? is that attached to the toyota rim or what? Lets say it is, and i have to remove it to put the other wheels, will the tire pressure indicator (!) stay on all the time or how is that gonna work?

    thanks.

Edit: for my 2008 prius pck5

The tire pressure sensors are part of the air valve on each wheel. When you take them off the light will come on and stay on all winter. You can cover it with tape, if it bothers you. It has no other effect.
