Hint: check the outside air temperature in the first picture. I'll post the answer 6:00 PM (CDT) Sunday. Bob Wilson
I assumed he used his prius super cooled magnet and attached to to a semi trailer and it was so cool it froze the temp sensor for 3550 miles!
Two other possibilities: 1. Bob found a mountain so high, that he could continuously descend it for 3,550 miles, or 2. The outside air temp and fuel consumption inputs to the MFD were disconnected or failed, while the odometer input was maintained.
I took the original cassette radio out and it has the terminator resistor for the OBD. This fails the OBD to the MFD. It can not read OBD data including fuel consumption, outside air temp, and SOC. But my Miniscanner works great and gives better metrics. The MFD has a direct feed from the brake ECU which is how it measure distance: Any distance / no fuel = 99.9 MPG. <GRINS> Bob Wilson
