I have owned a 2014 Prius-c for 9 years. This is my overall assessment of the car.
Pros: Great mileage. Cons: Everything else.

Basically it is cheap to operate but it is cramped and not comfortable to ride in. The ride is very harsh and the road and wind noise are horrible. It is hard to carry on a conversation with a passenger and impossible to listen to the radio. It is quite expensive to maintain since the only halfway competent mechanics who can work on it are the dealer's people and even those are not all that competent, Parts are quite expensive. The paint was/is defective and the body of the car is extremely thin. It almost dents if you look at it too hard. Seriously, I had a dent and I was able to easily take it out by hand with no tools. I doubt the survivability of the passengers in a real accident. I am at the point where I have to replace the 12V battery and am not happy that I cannot find an aftermarket replacement at a reasonable cost. I don't know how much longer to expect the high voltage battery to last but the replacement cost is likely more than the car would be worth so it will have to go to a scrap yard. I shudder to think how much that will cost if I can even find a yard that would take it.

So you joined this forum yesterday just to complain about the car,but waited 9 years to do so ?
For myself, i find it no problem to have a conversation in the car with a passenger , even with the windows open.
I can hear the stereo just fine . I can carry 2x4x8 studs in the car . For me its been a great little
car so far . I have only owned it for a year and a half though. I'm hoping to own it for another 7&1/2 years at least.
the hybrid battery is 51% . Project lithium will be my next go to for the hybrid battery . 2015 Prius C 122,000 KM .
How many KM,s / Miles on you car ?

    Hi Guys,
I've always received great advice, assistance & reviews from priuschat so I thought I'd post this here. I recently totaled my 2017 Prius Three Touring and was looking looking to replace it with the same model but my son sells at a dealer and has a 2014 Prius c Four w/58k for $14,000. It is in really great shape with no cosmetic flaws except for some paint flaking on the top of the rear spoiler. New tires, 1 owner, clean Carfax, no accidents. I sat in it and inspected it but haven't driven it yet. I'm a Lyft/Uber/Amazon Flex driver so a really clean car is important to me. And, leather seats are too. I kept my previous 2 Priuses in like new condition with daily washes & vacuums and this one fits that bill.

Do you guys think this is a good deal?
