Hello all, So I have a 2008 Prius. I took it to a car wash last night and they lost my key. I had a key at home that I can start the car with but can not lock/unlock doors. I had my brother brought that key and drove the car home. Now I need a fob with the metal key that I can lock/unlock doors and start the car. I do not think mine is smart key because I do not have black square on the door handle and I have to put the fob in the key slot and push to start the car. Can I program my existing key to lock/unlock doors without the original? The car wash will pay for a new key, but I want to keep the door locked in the meantime.
