When I got the 2010 Prius the display which shows the flow of energy from gas engine to battery was a bright orange/redish arrow (if I remember correctly). On the other ECO display, the word POWER at the right end of the graph was also bright organge/redish as well. Now, the diplay is perfectly fine for the white and green markings and arrows but the orange ones I can barely see, they are almost invisible. I tried adjusting the brightness with the little wheel on the left sife of the steering wheel but it makes no difference (it affects the radio lighting but not the information display). Whether headlights are on or off also make no difference. I was not in a sunny environment at all so I should be able to see properly.

I just checked again while in the garage, in a darker envrionment, and I can see the letters PWR at the right end of the ECO display graph in a light brownish almost purple colour, much lighter intensity than anything else on the display.

Am I missing something, is my memory failing me or do I have a problem with the display?

    Thanks for the help!

It's normal; there's another thread or two here about it, and mine's like that.

The red markings are hard to see (something I noted on the LA test drive). I could barely see the red arrow in the Energy Monitor. The PWR is a little easier to see for some reason (maybe because it's larger than the thin arrow).

P.S. we don't have a model so it would be "N/A" for us.
