    Thanks again to all who post. With your postings and pm's I was able to solve the deadly P3006, p1436,p1636,p0420 codes without ever having the dealer touch my car. In fact the dealer stated" I've never heard of one of them HV batteries going bad"
    Thanks to all your help I changed my HV batt myself and did the other repairs.
    DO NOT ATTEMPT TO WORK ON HV BATTERY UNLESS YOU ARE EXPERIENCED IN AC & DC HIGH VLOTAGE.

    So did you document the process? By "HV batt" do you mean the entire
    thing, or a 7.2V module or two, or what? Where did you get the
    parts?

    I am currently dismantling the HV pack I replaced and testing suspected bad modules in it. Bwilson is also into a similar project. I hope Bob will make a deal with me for a couple of good modules, dont know yet.
