I just stumbled across this website, and was thrilled to see that the Prius+ will be available in the future for all 2004-2006 Priuses. Was anyone aware of this? Any ideas on prices?
Yes these guys are for real and I believe I read the Li car was flown to Japan for Toyota to look at. I personally would love to have such a car. I think that the same article said that Toyota is following the Cal Cars work as well. There is a market for such a car. EV mode around town and at full hybrid with ICE for higher speeds and extended trips. This is a no-brainer as far as I am concerned and a natural extension of the genius of the Prius.
