I got 2010 Prius, my windows are going crazy on me, see these videos for back and front windows. I didn't upload 3rd back passenger window's video, which won't work from master control, only works from the same control in the door. So all together 3 windows not working properly. IDK if it's control switch related or something else?
are you pushing button at all in this videos? is the master button assy in door damaged do buttons feel as always . think about this now . are buttons sloppy or depressed without touching control?
That's the sensor that's designed to protect kids and adults from getting their arm stuck in a closing window... Simply clean and inspect the rubber channels the window slides in to find out where its getting jammed up. I've found silicone lubricant spray is a good way to stop this from happening.
When the window goes all the way up and then dances back, the way your rear-window video shows, that usually means the regulator has forgotten where 'up' is. It is programmed to dance back any time it hits something that stops it. It has to learn the one allowed exception ("if you are all the way up, then what stopped you was the top of the door, and that's ok"). See the repair manual (more info) for how to teach it.
Yes, when the glass is down, I was pushing it up. Master button seems to working fine, it happens even if I use their main controller from the same window.
I just put brand-new battery there is no other issues with the car, e.g. starting or anything else. It shows 12.8
Yes-like camper said maybe there’s a stick point in the guides it hits it thinks it’s sposed to back off . And does and repeats . That or very worn contacts in master switch
I fixed two windows with lubricant, now I can't get the 3rd one fixed I got the main switch and window switch replaced but still nothing, that window will work fine with its windows switch but from master switch it would only go down, not up.
