Hello! I just bought a Prius Plug-in on my lunch break over the phone from a Lexus Dealer 900 miles away on Thursday. I feel a little cray. I know I made a great choice and got a great deal, though. I'll post pics once my mail-order PiP de-flowers me. Can't wait to get to know all you other Prius lovers!
congrats and welcome to the pip club!!! what an exciting way to buy a car! fortunately, with toyota, you're in good hands. all the best!
Congrats, it really is the best Prius if you can score a good deal on it. You'll love the 8 way adjustable seat and the radar cruise, which also gets you a great collision avoidance system. Does it say something about me that I care more about the seat than the 9 miles of EV range I typically get? Does make it a lot easier to get good mileage though!
....Virgin...Scored...Deflowers.... Uh...I'm not sure the Sisters at Parochial School wanted me involved in these types of discussions.
Thanks for the warm welcome @bisco! I think I'll love the seats @ggood as much as the heads up display. I'm looking forward to long road trips when I can dim everything else and just focus on the road ahead. Don't worry @The Electric Me, creative language is harmless. And who knows, when I hit my first 500 miles on one tank of gas I might bloody up my knees (in a good way) when I fall to the ground, singing, "Hallelujah"!
No creative language can be powerful, sometimes dangerous....I think you were being harmless. I was just kidding.- Welcome and I hope you enjoy your bought on your lunch break, sight unseen Plug In Prius. I have a "Standard Prius" and I love those long road trips. Really nice to be able to plan them with little worry about fuel cost. Have fun.
I'm glad that you are happy and hope this turns out better than you imagine but.................. You really KNOW nothing until you get there and see and drive it. And I'm pretty sure that you have actually "bought" nothing until the paper work is signed in person. Good luck.
Thanks all! @The Electric Me - you're absolutely right about creative language. I'm sometimes aloof to the dangers of sinister types (I'm a bunny, after all). But yes, words can penetration beyond the damage of sticks and stones and even boulders. @Easy Rider 2 Thanks! I probably need some luck gettin it transported from Tucson to SF without a scratch. All paperwork and payments are signed, sealed, delivered... she's almost mine!
.... I assume it may have green HOV stickers but if not you have a brief window to get some PS- Welcome aboard!
Greetings and Welcome Aboard! I'll leave all of the innuendo sitting where it lies, and just say that you need to make sure that you vet this deal out thoroughly before you marry the car. Dealers LIKE newbies....and the Pip isn't a virgin. Good Luck! post pics
