    Prius V 2013, 102,000 miles.

Is $700 (dealer) to change spark plugs out of line?
And what about "Reseal Timing Cover" for Timing Cover Leak - $2200 (dealer) ?

Ridiculous on the plugs and usually unnecessary on the timing chain gasket.

    Stealership prices… for both services.

Plugs are, IIRC, a120,000 mile replacement cycle.

Is the engine actually leaking/losing a measurable quantity of oil?

    If not, resealing isn’t needed.

Expect a volley of suggestions about EGR cooler cleaning.

Or 12 years, whichever comes first. Some do just stick with miles though, not the end of the world.

EGR cleaning? Would be timely. Or leave it be and wait for the inevitable head gasket failure.

with the EGR, dealerships are a lost cause, and unless you’re in the vicinity of Tampa Hybrids (Florida) or Hybrid Pit Stop (California), DIY is necessity. See first two links in my signature; on a phone turn it landscape to see signature.

Spark plugs are $10 each.... need 4........... easy to do yourself..... seems tough at first put not really that hard. First time might take you one or two hours.... have to remove a few thing but not technical or hard at all.

    Spark Plugs
    Spark Plug Socket
    10" Extension
    10 MM socket
Ratchet.... might need a couple of different sockets.. can't remember
Plenty of youtube videos on the subject....
