Sway bar arrived today. Install was pretty straight forward and the instructions were good but the pictures in the instructions were not that great (photocopied black and white.) Total job took about 25min in the garage with common tools, a floor jack, and jack stands. The hardest part was getting the car jacked up so we could get underneath. I didn't get a chance to take it out tonight so I'll see if I can tell a difference tomorrow.

    Here's some pics.

Looks good. So this is a TRD sway bar that is easy to order or is this for the Plus package & hard to get? How much was it & where did you get it?

Just ordered it, no hassle, no vin number needed. Did a Google search and this was the cheapest place that I could find it when I ordered. Took about a week to get here.

    Part number is: PTR11-47010

After you drive with the sway bar for a little while. Let us know if you notice a difference and if you feel it was worth putting on.

The hardware looks just like the 2008 xB setup, except for the white color.

Initial drive to work was uneventful and there were not a lot of places you can put the bar in a place to perform especially in rush-hour traffic. I did notice the car seems to lean/roll less while turning and on the freeway it feels more planted. In more planted I mean less susceptible to wind which is a whole other story and thread that'll I'll update later this week.

When making the 90degree turns from road to road, as mentioned above the car didn't seem to lean near as much. The overall effect thus far has been noticeable but definitely not day-and-night over not having a SB. I put a Hellwig SB on my Tahoe and got a much more noticeable response from it but that's kinda like comparing a tank to a jeep.

What is your suspension and wheel setup? I think with the Eibach street lower springs and 17" wheels plus this rear sway bar will remove 80% of that wobbly boat feeling? Unfortunately we'll also lose 3-5mpg with the bigger wheels and no wheel covers. Also did you have to get additional hardware (nuts and bolts for the rear endlinks) to complete the job? Let us know!

Any improvement or difference noticed with just the brace?

Yeah the brace alone was a big deal towards the front offering more structure support.to the car. It feels rigid as you drive on straightaways and freeways. It won't help you corner faster, that's what the rear sway is for. But the car feels very solid with just the 2.pt bar. Also, I did have the improved mid chasis bar as well. Those two combine made the car more whole. The springs and sway made cornering fun and makes the car less squishy over hills and stuff.
