New owner of 2010 hybrid for $900. 240k mikes. Blown head gasket. Can anyone recommend an independent Prius shop in North Carolina ?? Should I replace engine or head gasket? Budget is $4.25k. Thanks a lot!!

I was quoted by an independent Toyota shop (with good reviews and references) $5500 to replace 2010 engine with a Gen3 engine.

Be sure to clean the EGR and intake manifold, if you follow through on repairs. Post some pictures of it’s condition if you can.
