I love my Prius Prime Advanced. Significantly improved over my prior Gen 2 and Gen 3. My only complaint is that I've quickly gotten tired of the music that plays when I start up or shut down the car. It's infinitely more annoying to me than the back-up beep. Can I or the dealer turn it off?

There's an existing thread about this, including how to turn it off.

Found it - navigation manual pages 67 and 68, beginning/ending sound.

You can change the start up/shut down music from the vehicle settings menu. Turning off the beeping sound when backing up is not as simple. My dealer wanted $75 to take care of it. You may want to look into an OBD2 device from Carista. It's $40 on Amazon and comes with a 30-day free trial. You can change all sort of things on your Prius. I posted pics of the options on my thread:

Is there a way to change the tune to something else by replacing the mp3 file?
