Soon after I purchased my Gen3 Prius I ordered a Covercraft Sunbrella Cover to protect it while I am at work. 7 years later the cover is still going strong and it did a great job of protecting the interior and exterior in my opinion. So as soon as I purchased my new 2018 Prime Advanced I ordered a new cover to keep it looking good. I ordered the cover from AutoAccessoriesGarage because they had a great price compared to Covercraft direct. On the website it said the cover would come with " 2 Mirror Pockets, with Charging Port Flap, with Antenna Pocket." The picture attached shows the picture of the hole cut out for the charging door. My co-worker has joked with me that his 4 year old daughter likes to sew and could help me out. After 4 days covercraft is supposed to be taking the cover back to fix it. Has anyone else ordered a cover for their Prime?
Pretty cool (in more ways than one)! I have not ordered a cover for mine, since, luckily, I‘m generally able to park it in garage or covered parking. Just a thought though: Is the hole for the charge port really of value? Might be ultimately better to plug in then drape the cover over it all?
What's the underside made of? The surface that comes in contact with the paint? Fleece? Hopefully something very soft.
I’m gonna tint all of the windows (have an appointment to get that done June 1st). Have vent shades installed to let the heat out from the day. Unfortunately I park outside at work near a dusty area, so a car wash occasionally is the only solution. But that cover looks good.
mr88cet, my work is right next to a grain mill, no covered parking, and 100+ during the summer so cover is my best option. schja01, cover is sunbrella material. Not super soft but it is rated best for ultraviolet protection. Citiprius-my thoughts exactly. Covercraft sent an RMA so the cover goes back today. I will use the cover from my Gen3 until the new cover comes back. Raytheeagle-any chance you would contact me?
schja01, yea I thought about that but it won't be much different than all the other spam calls I get and ignore.
