Prius Prime Blower - kicks at highest speed

    Hi all.

    I have a 2019 Prius Prime I'm restoring. We found the blower fan was rattling due to a mouse eating part of it. We replaced the blower, no problem and it worked for about a week. Now when the blower kicks on, it spins up through the various levels. At max speed, the fan jerks and shuts off. If we pull the fan out, and run it, we can see it physically jerk before shutting off.

    Is this likely a bad new blower, or more like a resistor?
