Thinking about getting some 17" wheels upgrade for my Prius. Does anyone know if 17x7", Bolt Pattern 5x100, Offset 38 will fits for Prius?

    Thanks,

Thanks, will the offset fits? The Prius has an offset of 40ET and these wheels are 38ET. Will I need spacers?

    2 millimeters = 0.0787401575 inches

I have no idea if it'll matter but my off the hip guess is it won't.

Wheel Offset Calculator if visualization helps you.

2mm could be saved by getting a 10mm narrower tire (205 instead of 215 for example) so even if it is an issue it could be worked around with proper tire selection.

besides it's in your interests fuel economy wise to go for the narrowest tire you can on those 17" rims so long as it's near the 835 revs per mile target so start looking at 205/50/17 instead of 215/45/17.

Spacers lower the offset more. Lower number means more poke. Higher number means more sunk. I replied to your PM though with more details
