Just a funny story that happened to me last week, and I thought you guys might enjoy. I was driving down one of my usual roads, and I wanted to do a lane change. I do so with plenty of space between me and the lifted pickup truck behind me. He then starts to speed up and ride my bumper. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, and gave him time to change his stopping distance...but he never did. After about a quarter mile of him riding my bumper, I decided a brake check was a good idea. (I do not condone my actions, I was just mad) He ducked into the other lane so as not to hit me, and as he passes me, I notice his window sticker that says "I drive a pickup truck because I've never heard a woman say that's a bada** Prius." I was so pleased with myself. He did proceed to follow me around for the next 15 minutes. I just kept driving in circles until he gave up.
Woah....brake check in a Prius. If you are a woman you got "balls". "Brake check" is brake instantly into abs engagement, release and then full throttle. Lucky you are! pedestrian vs bicycle bicycle vs motorcycle motorcycle vs car car vs truck truck vs bus bus vs train FWIW there are no winners in brake checks.
Whoa, yeah no. I didn't hit them that hard. We had like 3 feet between us, so I wanted to error the safe side. I did manage to get his attention, and that's what I was going for. XT1031 ?
