Prius Hood Protector and Rear Bumper Guard

So I ordered a 2012 Prius hood protector and rear bumper guard from the Toyota dealership I bought the car from. I received the order and the dealership (read stealership) wanted to charge me 120$ after taxes for installation. SO I said "YEAH OK" and decided to do it myself. I got the Toyota PFD install files from them.

Before installing I called another Toyota dealership next to my work and low and behold, they told me it would cost me 50$ after taxes. So I went and got it installed by them and they even added a couple of other adhesives in order to make sure this thing stays on and make no wind noise. Very happy with the work, it looks perfect.

They installed the rear bumper guard according to Toyota's recommendation but I find that this means the bumper guard doesn't align perfectly with the car bends and curves.....not too much of a big issue, still looks nice though.

Now the surprise: I opened my door and all of a sudden, I had 4 door sill guards installed (prius labelled on the front door sill guards, and two black unlabelled ones in the back)......I was completely surprised as I can swear these did not come with the car. SO now my question, do the door sills comes with the rear bumper guard or did the dealership install it free of charge (I really doubt that).....I never opened the package to verify the contents before so I couldn't answer this question.

Anyone knows?

 

Thanks bielinsk.......so I guess they did come with the car.....just never noticed them for some reason.
