    Good morning!
I know there are a few threads on adding the Firestone #4136 kit to a Prius but I thought I'd ask again in case anyone has any more helpful hints.

We have a 2010 Prius III. I ordered the #4136 kit from Amazon this morning. Double-check to make sure you're getting the right one because there are very similar kits. Amazon said the "Firestone 4136 Suspension Leveling Kit" would work, but the "Firestone W237604136 Coil-Rite Kit" would not. But check out the product details and they both appear to be the same kit. A little confusing.

As others suggested, I used the "Your Garage" feature.

I can't find any instructions for the air bags that are specific to the Prius. This thread indicates that the air lines should go out the top, correct? Any other helpful ideas? Some people have mentioned it's a chore stuffing the bags between the springs. I wonder if some soap and water would help?

I installed a 2" TorkLift Eco-Hitch a few days ago, replacing a 1.25" Draw-Tite. For anyone contemplating the Eco-Hitch, be aware that this hitch is a very tight fit. At one point I was convinced I'd gotten the wrong unit. Between jacking up the car, jacking up the muffler, and trying to shoehorn the hitch into place, you're gonna want at least 4 jacking devices. And/or a couple of assistants. Two plastic tangs extending from the lowest edge of the Prius bumper bodywork have to be held out of the way as the hitch goes by, and they'll try to get in the way again if you drop the hitch just a little. It wasn't fun.

I broke a few of the plastic pushpins that attach the plastic Prius underpan. I know how those pushpins are supposed to work. Pry the pin out of the center and the rest is easy. But road grit had fouled the pins. They wouldn't extract. I broke several forcing them out.

The Torklift instructions say to remove only the underpan at the very rear of the car. But Toyota considers the rearward pan and the one just ahead to be one unit. Most of the pins I broke were the short pins that attached the two underpans together. So, this is just a suggestion but you might find it easier to remove both pans as one unit instead of separating them.

The larger pins that connect the underpan to the car are Part # 52161-02020, "PIECE, RR BUMPER". The small pins that connect the two pans together are #90467-07201, "CLIP".
