Prius driver shot in Berkeley

    Police were investigating an apparent shooting Wednesday night of a motorist on Interstate 80 in Berkeley.

    The shooting at about 9:20 p.m. wounded a man as he drove his Toyota Prius west on I-80 near Gilman Street, according to the California Highway Patrol. Authorities were told to be on the lookout for a white Buick Regal carrying a Latino man, an African American man with dreadlocks and a white woman.

    Pretty shocking! A 19 year old ... in critical condition after being shot in the head. I didn't know he was driving a Prius until I saw your post.

    I hope the kid makes it, and wonder what in the world happened (random? gang? road rage?)
