Prius Collectors? Only 50 of these ever made

    I stumbled upon a Prius limited 50th anniversary edition on craigslist. Only 50 of these cars were ever produced, and only in the Hawaii market. Now someone has brought one over to the states and it's up for sale. Surely this car will be worth a lot of money one day. Good Luck!!

    It was to commemorate the 50th anniversary of statehood for Hawaii, the 50th state. It doesn't mean the car has been in production for 50 years. ;)

    Apart from the etched side sills, it seems virtually indistinguishable from the UK top of the range 2008 T Spirit (Touring model in the US).

    The pearl-white on a 2nd-gen is interesting. I don't think pearl white was ever offered on a 2nd gen here. Was it in the UK?
