I know the early Prius had a vacuum cylinder to keep coolant warm, and I understood they now use exhaust heat exchanger to warm up the coolant. Having looked under my Yaris HSD, I noticed there didn't appear to be anything like that on my car - so I'm wondering. does the Prius C have such a device?? I found the following picture somewhere which I believe is a Prius C and clearly shows a heat exchanger on the right, immediately after the Cat convertor... P'raps its just something for the US market or for colder parts of the world??
