Prius c 3 heated seat connection?

Yeah. The wiring is there. It even routed to the bottom of the seats. If you could get the switch and the heating pads with the right connectors. And thats it. Also check if fuse is also plug in.

 

!! keep me posted on this one. Are you going to go through with installing aftermarket heat pads? this is AWESOME!

 

Most manufacturers just make one harness for their stuff. My F150 had the same harness as the 4x4 version. When I put the brake controller in, I saw the 4x4 harness right there behind the dash as well.

The other issue that I had is that even though the harness is there for the brake controller, there was no circuit breaker nor fuse for the controller in the fuse box (by design) . So even with the harness for the seat heater there, a fuse will probably be needed also in the fuse block.

Too bad I couldn't just add the fuse and 4wd switch to make it 4x4.

probably just a harness that goes nowhere (and even if it does), just get a aftermarket seat heaters (will most likely be cheaper than oem, and less of a hassle to install/troubleshoot...my cheapo $50 ebay seat heaters still kicking in it's 2nd winter...and it's just a easy route wires to the 15A seat heater fuse box below driver panel).

why not just get a volt meter and see if any power goes there

 

I just sort of used the sticky pads on the seat heaters to stick to the oem cloth seat then covered it up with clazzios

Ran the wires (both seat heaters also have in line fuses) from the two seats under the middle plastic trims to the driver fuse box panel and used a add a fuse to tap into the fuse (since the add a fuse was too bulky for the fuse cover to be put back on, I just left it off, as I don't think I would ever kick up into the fuse box while driving or in the car)

I followed someone else on here's instructions to drill into the two optional blanks and add the seat heater control into them...there are other control knobs out there
