B1442 is a problem controlling the door that selects between fresh and recirculated intake air. It is probably not why you are getting hot air. But it may have some impact on comfort once the hot-air problem is solved.

B1476 indicates the A/C compressor is drawing an unexpected amount of power (either too little or too much) when the car tries to run the A/C. This probably is why you are getting hot air. One reason the compressor might use too little power is not enough stuff to compress; the system could be undercharged on refrigerant. Some reasons it might use too much power would be overcharged with refrigerant, or a system blockage, bad airflow through the condenser, or the condenser fans not working; those would all lead to excessive refrigerant pressure for the compressor to have to work against. Another possibility could be a problem with the compressor itself.
