Prius 2010 - What is this?? dangling from dash panel in general area of internal fuse box

    Any idea what this is? Maybe something related to the internal fuse box - seems to be in that general area? Have no idea how long it has been there, but just picked up my car from the mechanic on Friday - a few days ago, and wonder if it was something they forgot to remove ... could it cause my 12v battery to drain? Haven't had any issues since I picked it up, but ...

    Did you purchase the car new or used.

    It could be the dealer installed VIP RS3200Plus security system that you created a thread about on November16th? https://priuschat.com/index.php?posts/3493775

    Unplug it and see what happens.
