    Hi all,
My Prius 2005 with 105K won't start. When I hit the START/STOP button while pressing the Brake pedal very hard, the READY lighthe blinks a few times then disapears. I used a Acton OBD II to find the codes, but NO DTC was logged. What could be the problem? I am thinking about towing it to the dealer next week.
    Thanks

Check your 12V battery, making sure it is fully charged and has a good ground connection.

Took the car to dealer and found out that the Inverter/Converter was bad. Bought an used one from a local junkyard for $400.00 . Works like a champ now. Thanks

How did the dealer figure out that the inverter was bad? Good job on the DIY salvage replacement!

the dealer code reader is able to read the inverter code, wheras, his acton scanner is useless on a prius
